Still crazy after all these years

At last. Vuelvo a Nathan's Land. Parafraseando a Morgan Freeman en Cadena Perpetua hago mío aquello de "I find I'm so excited, I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. I think it's the excitement only a free man can feel, a free man at the start of a long journey whose conclusion is uncertain". You , Good night, now it's time to go home". I Hope.

REALLY?

Here's to you, Ehud and Eldad.

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom, for me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

I see skies of blue, and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces, of people going by
I see friends shaking hands, sayin', "How do you do?"
They're really sayin', "I love you"

I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more, than I'll ever know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world ???

Rise and fall of Takeru Kobayashi

Nothing lasts forever.

Nothing lasts forever. Not even you, Takeru. Good Luck...

A sunny Sunday afternoon
New York is an ugly city, a dirty city. Its climate is a scandal, its politics are used to frighten children, its traffic is madness, its competition is murderous...

But there is one thing about it -once you have lived in New York, and it has become your home, no place else is good enough". John Steinbeck, New York Magazine, Feb, 1, 1953

IN THE EVE...

....
And I dreamed I was dying
I dreamed that my soul rose unexpectedly
And looking back down at me
Smiled reassuringly
And I dreamed I was flying
And high up above my eyes could clearly see
The Statue of Liberty
Sailing away to sea
And I dreamed I was flying

We come on the ship they call the Mayflower
We come on the ship that sailed the moon
We come in the age's most uncertain hours
and sing an American tune
Oh, and it's alright, it's all right, it's all right
You can't be forever blessed
Still, tomorrow's going to be another working day
And I'm trying to get some rest
That's all I'm trying to get, some rest

American Tune. Paul Simon 1973.
